Being a romance author just has to be one of the most fun jobs in the world!

I get to mingle with beautiful heroines and handsome heroes, journey with them to

oh-so-romantic faraway places - from luxury villas, hotels and palazzos to secret hideaways, Mediterranean islands and tropical beaches - places where their passion and desire for each other can be discovered, and fulfilled.

I see them through the anguish and the heartbreak that can tear them apart as their tangled emotions torment them......

And then - best bit of all! - I get to watch them finally make their vows of eternal love to each other as they commit themselves to marriage, and making their family together.

Their happy-ever-after where love has triumphed for them both.

I hope you may enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoyed writing them!

Ever since I was a teenager I've loved reading romance stories. Mills and Boon were my first 'grown up' books, along with Georgette Heyer and Daphne Du Maurier.  I adored the passion and the drama, the heartbreak and the torment, the sheer, swooning thrill of it all!

Whether heroines were shy and insecure, or fiery and dramatic, whether heroes were dark and brooding or shamelessly seductive, I've loved them all!

They say all romances reprise fairy tales, and as I write I can see the truth of that.

I've written stories which are Sleeping Beauty stories - a beautiful but unawakened heroine, trapped sometimes by her past, or imprisoned by her circumstances, where the hero has to open her eyes to the riches of romantic desire.

Stories that are Little Red Riding Hood stories - where a determined heroine has to be on guard against a predatory wolf who might just consume her totally in passion.

Stories that are Cinderella stories - where an impoverished heroine is swept off to revel in riches and luxury, all of which will turn to rags and ashes unless true love wins the day.

And best of all  (my favourites!)  are the Ugly Duckling stories - a neglected, overlooked heroine who in the arms of the hero becomes a swan, to fly to heights undreamt of!

Take a look, if you will, at Some Recent Titles to see which fairy-tales are in my stories!!!!

(Sometimes I'm greedy, and use more than one fairy-tale!!!!)
